Flemish Paintings

Originally from the North of France, the painter Amaury Dubois has always been lulled by the culture of the former County of Flanders. The cultural, culinary and architectural riches of this region are such that they offer an almost inexhaustible source of inspiration. Whether you stroll through the narrow streets of Lille, the capital of French Flanders, along the canals of Bruges, the capital of West Flanders, or even on top of Mont Cassel, you can only be carried away by the friendliness and beauty of these places. Inspired by his affection for his region, Amaury Dubois regularly takes pleasure in making oil paintings or art photographs highlighting it. The encounter between his artistic signature, the "courbisme", and the characteristic lines of Flemish architecture, offers us a very beautiful way to (re)discover Flanders, through the different paintings of this collection.
