"Amaury Dubois returns to his land to present a retrospective of his work: photos, ink, charcoal, oil paint at the Bondues cultural centre, but also a retrospective of his first works and first pieces, which have never been seen before by the public.

This man, a native of northern France, paints life in motion. He is the instigator of a new genre: "Curvism", because according to him, there is nothing straight in reality; His universe, amazing as well as strange, draws from all that is fluid, liquid, watery, a pictorial summary of his way of seeing the world, which ensures he is much talked about. To have one's full eyes filled with this, discover the talented artist Amaury Dubois.

"Bondues: new paintings and photos by Amaury Dubois

Amaury Dubois, a young painter, is now presenting his new paintings and art photographs at the Cultural Space."

"This young artist from Bondues is presenting his latest oil paintings, ink on paper and photography montages on Plexiglas for this new show."

Round shapes, light curves in bright colours reflect the energies of life. "In nature, there are no straight lines, but curves," says Amaury Dubois. "My pictorial summary is Curvism, not Cubism." A real colourist working on abstract and figurative motifs where oil flows, small diluted touches, thin paint splatters, all fully controlled by the artist, provide a subtle grace to his subjects. "Each element of my paintings is enclosed, bounded by a line of force that structures and directs light," says Amaury. "I work with oil paint, charcoal or ink, according to my desires, according to my emotions."

And what is this new art of photography on Plexiglas? " As for my paintings on canvas, I always start with a preparatory drawing. Then, I use at least 600 shots that will fit into my work. It is a long creative process."

In the last exhibition room, large-scale photo-montages make the beauty of nature captured by this talented painter and photographer burst out."
