Amaury Dubois realized a fresco for the city of Wambrechies - France. Painted in 2 weeks, on marine wood panels, it was assembled in a 30m² fresco which comes to dress the main wall of the harbour master's office of the city.
Symbol of his attachment to his home port
It is in the port of Wambrechies in France, his home town, that the French contemporary artist Amaury Dubois has put down bombs and brushes to paint his latest street art fresco. This work of 30m ² comes to dress with colors and curves the main wall of the harbor master's office. The contemporary artist wanted to offer his territory an original work, symbolizing his attachment to the city. "I live in Wambrechies, I love this city, it is the cradle of all my artworks. I wanted to mark this territory, the epicenter of my achievements. This fresco is for me like a totem that symbolizes my creative and inspirational ground."
Curves, bright colors and light, for a hymn to underwater life
This fresco, characteristic of the style of Amaury Dubois by its curves, its bright colors and its light. Algae, scales, waves are represented as a hymn to underwater life. The work illustrates the inseparable link between the city and the river that runs through it: water. "We are very happy that this magnificent work of Amaury Dubois comes to illuminate our city. We are proud that this internationally renowned artist has chosen Wambrechies to create his works, proof that he feels good here and that the city inspires him!"
Sébastien Brogniart, Marie de Wambrechies
