Le 16 octobre 2008 a eu lieu au siege de MERCEDES à Villeneuve d’Ascq une soirée événementielle organisée par la société EURIDYS pour fêter les 10 ans de la Smart et le lancement en avant première du nouveau 4×4 Mercedes GLK.

A cette occasion, M.Hubert GENTILE directeur général, amateur et collectionneur d’art a invité l’artiste peintre Amaury Dubois à participer à cet événement dans le cadre de leur politique de mécénat.

800 invités ont suivi la création d’un tableau de format panoramique sur le thème de la SMART, cette peinture est visible en permanence au siège de MERCEDES à Villeneuve d’Ascq.
