For five days, and for the first time, the Hôtel national des Invalides is opening its halls to street art.
From May 28 to June 1, 2026, 34 artists from the French art scene will exhibit their work at this iconic venue.
Among them, Amaury Dubois presents his work, in which color and movement take center stage. His visual world, built around intense gradients and a bold exploration of color, enters into a dialogue with the monument’s classical architecture.
Artists Featured at Street Art aux Invalides 2026
For the inaugural edition of Street Art aux Invalides, the Hôtel National des Invalides brought together 34 of the leading figures of the French urban art scene. Alongside Amaury Dubois, visitors discovered the work of renowned artists including Jo Di Bona, L’Atlas, Jordane Saget, Onemizer, Ardif, Amsted, GraffMatt, Sax, Carole B, Temponok, Dave Baranes, and many other invited artists who took part in this exceptional event.
Over several days, the public experienced live mural painting in the historic moats of Les Invalides, an exhibition of original artworks, and a charity auction organized by Artcurial in support of associations assisting wounded service members and the families of fallen soldiers.
Two Works by Amaury Dubois Presented at Les Invalides
For this unique event, the french artist Amaury Dubois presented two creations showcasing complementary aspects of his artistic practice.
For the charity auction, the artist exhibited “Silène”, a painting from his Vegetal Abstraction series. The work is part of an ongoing exploration in which organic forms, flowing curves, and vibrant colors create an imaginary landscape inspired by the natural world. It reflects the evolution of this body of work, where abstraction and nature merge through a free and expressive visual language.
At the same time, Amaury Dubois took part in the live painting performance held in the moats of the Hôtel National des Invalides. For this mural, he drew inspiration from his abstract series “Planet of Sound”, creating a dynamic composition in which shapes seem to resonate like musical waves. This ephemeral artwork established a dialogue between the historic architecture of Les Invalides and a contemporary visual language, offering visitors an immersive experience into the artist’s creative universe throughout the painting process.
