Art Photography
In this series of contemporary art photos, the artist applies Courbism to photography, which is thus used as a medium to serve his art. He captures moments of life at different times of the day and fragments them like a mosaic. The whole reflects the time that slips, that passes and its effect on the colors of life that surrounds us.
" the artist manages to create new perspectives and to highlight details that would otherwise go unnoticed."
Amaury Dubois continues his exploration of the world with this other artistic style. Starting from a photograph, a perfect reproduction of reality, the artist manages to create new perspectives and to highlight details that would otherwise go unnoticed.
These art photographs allow the artist to play as much with urban architecture as with nature and its varied landscapes, thus passing from the streets of New York or Singapore to beautiful stretches of beach, dunes or desert.
About Art Photographies
Before becoming an art form in its own right, photography was used as an aid by painters to produce their works.
Today, photographic art, like painting, is declined in many styles and has gone through different artistic currents, from pictorialism to humanist photography or even to plastic photography.
It is in this last modern artistic trend that Amaury Dubois uses photography as a medium to serve his art following the example of Mendjisky and David Hockney with whom we can see certain artistic convergences.
