In November 2025, the city of Roncq celebrated the work of Amaury Dubois by hosting an exceptional retrospective spanning over 600 m².

This exhibition, the most ambitious ever dedicated to the artist, offered a unique immersion into the universe of this contemporary painter.

With more than 100 works on display, visitors were invited on a true journey through the various collections of Amaury Dubois. From vegetal abstraction, harmoniously blending nature and modernity, to reinterpretations of famous paintings, each room revealed a different facet of his creativity.

A particular focus was dedicated to the monumental fresco created for the Church of Châtelaillon in 2020. Sketches, previously unseen drafts, and narratives of this exceptional project captivated art enthusiasts and curious visitors alike, unveiling the behind-the-scenes process of this sacred work.

This retrospective was not merely an exhibition but also a wonderful opportunity to revisit a rich and diverse artistic journey.

It allowed the public to explore the many facets of Amaury Dubois’s creativity and evolution. The event was a resounding success, with over 1,500 visitors from across France, Belgium, and the Netherlands passing through its doors.
