AURORA | 300x120 cm

One year ago, Amaury Dubois became ambassador of "La Créativallée", an association of people and companies committed of the North of France that aims to defend and showcase the rich culture of the region.

The project, Aurora Nord Pas-de-Calis, was to illuminate 9 cities of the region as a northern lights,  also known by its scientific name an aurora borealis. Amaury Dubois with "La Créativallée" decided to use the colors of the fireworks of the national day to create an immense fresco. All the participating cities had a different color, the sky was lit by fireworks and goodies was distributed of this color assigned. So, as exemple, the city of Saint Omer was orange, Arras was pink, Saint Amand-les-Eaux was blue... Photographers captured these events in 9 cities and Amaury Dubois gathered these pictures in only one fresco.

Hundreds of hours of work, 500 pictures later, the project Aurora is finaly done. Amaury Dubois managed to show at the same time the diversity and the sense of identity of all these cities, but also their unity by combining them in a single harmonious fresco.

Discover from now auroras borealis of the Northern France!

This artwork will be exposed in all the participating cities but we hope that its success will go beyond the regional borders.
