A Street Art painting of 30m² on the port of Wambrechies - France
Amaury Dubois realized a fresco for the city of Wambrechies - France. Painted in 2 weeks, on marine wood panels, it was assembled in a 30m² fresco which comes to dress the main wall of the harbour master's office of the city.
Symbol of his attachment to his home port
It is in the port of Wambrechies in France, his home town, that the French contemporary artist Amaury Dubois has put down bombs and brushes to paint his latest street art fresco. This work of 30m ² comes to dress with colors and curves the main wall of the harbor master’s office.
The contemporary artist wanted to offer his territory an original work, symbolizing his attachment to the city.
“I live in Wambrechies, I love this city, it is the cradle of all my artworks. I wanted to mark this territory, the epicenter of my achievements. This fresco is for me like a totem that symbolizes my creative and inspirational ground.“
Amaury Dubois.
A new fresco by the artist
After a monumental fresco of 600m ² made with spray cans and brushes in the church of Chatellaillon Plage (17) and elected among the 10 most beautiful street art frescoes in the world in 2020 by the Italian magazine Collater.al, and a fresco of 64m ² entitled “Shoot and Run” painted with brushes in Lille (59), this Wambrechies fresco is the last work of this type made by the artist. His next fresco is in preparation and will decorate the church of Calais (62) in spring 2022.
