A 30m² Street Art painting on the port of Wambrechies - France

Amaury Dubois created a mural for the city of Wambrechies, France. Painted in two weeks on marine wood panels, it was assembled into a 30m² fresco that now adorns the main wall of the city's harbor master's office.

A Symbol of His Attachment to His Home Port

It is in the port of Wambrechies, France, his hometown, that French contemporary artist Amaury Dubois brought out his spray cans and brushes to create his latest street art mural. This 30m² work now adorns the main wall of the harbor master’s office with vibrant colors and flowing curves.

The contemporary artist aimed to gift his community with an original piece, a symbol of his deep connection to the city.

“I live in Wambrechies, I love this city—it’s the cradle of all my artwork. I wanted to leave a mark on this place, the epicenter of my creations. This mural is like a totem for me, symbolizing my space of creation and inspiration.”

A New Fresco by the Artist

Following a monumental 600m² fresco created with spray paint and brushes in the church of Châtelaillon-Plage (17), which was ranked among the 10 most beautiful street art murals in the world in 2020 by the Italian magazine Collater.al, and a 64m² fresco titled Shoot and Run painted with brushes in Lille (59), this fresco in Wambrechies is the artist’s latest work of this kind. The next fresco is already in preparation and will adorn the church of Calais (62) in the spring of 2022.
