Amaury Dubois participates in the exhibition “TRANSITION, THE DOORS

Abbeville recently put street art on the map with an ephemeral museum dedicated to it. The ephemeral street art museum is once again putting street art in the spotlight in the second panel of this artistic adventure with the exhibition “TRANSITION, LES PORTES”. in this exhibition organised by the CURB association and the departmental council of the Somme.

The idea is to transform a common object into exceptional works of art by inviting artists to work on doors. Various doors, doors from everyday life, which are as many canvases for the 120 invited artists. Works of art for a dialogue of emotions between past and present, between heritage and modernity.

“From the building, we kept the doors of the flats, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom doors, with the idea of transforming the common object into an exceptional piece. The doors, transformed into works of art by more than 120 French, European and international artists, will be exhibited in the magnificent setting of the Royal Abbey of Saint Riquier for a dialogue of emotions between past and present, between heritage and modernity.

To discover the door painted by Amaury Dubois as well as those of 120 other artists such as Jon One, Atlas, Nasty, 1 Up etc., go to the Royal Abbey of Saint Riquier located in the Bay of the Somme not far from Abbeville from 26 March to 18 September 2022.
