Artistic Mural for Clésence in Compiègne
To mark the opening of its new facility in Compiègne, the social housing provider Clésence gave me free rein to design an artistic mural to be displayed at the heart of its new workspaces.
“Because she has a roof over her head, she can look forward to tomorrow.”
Artistic Mural for Clésence in Compiègne
Because she has a roof over her head, she can look forward to tomorrow.
To mark the opening of its new facility in Compiègne, the social housing provider Clésence gave me free rein to design an artistic mural to be displayed at the heart of its new workspaces.
For this project, I chose to tell a simple story directly linked to Clésence’s mission: that of a little girl setting off calmly for school, her backpack on her back, with a whole future ahead of her to build.
Behind this image lies a fundamental idea: having a home means having a sense of stability. It means being able to grow, learn, plan for the future, and prepare for what lies ahead with greater peace of mind.
This mural thus becomes more than just a decorative element. Through an accessible and symbolic image, it conveys the importance of housing in building a life.

A mural inspired by my series on stencils
For this piece, I drew on my work with stencils, a technique that allows me to construct characters and scenes while preserving the energy, contrasts, and colors that define my artistic world.
The silhouette of this little girl serves as the starting point for the composition. She moves forward, she grows, she heads toward school and toward what lies ahead for her.
Around her, curves and colors accompany this movement and create a dialogue between the character, the architecture, and the space in which the mural is set.
The graphic design remains intentionally straightforward: a scene, a character, a story. But as is often the case in my work, multiple layers of meaning can emerge from a simple image.

Art in the Workplace
This commission from Clésence is part of a broader exploration of the role of art in professional settings.
A mural created in a company should do more than simply decorate a wall. It can become an integral part of the space’s identity, evoke emotion, tell a story, and enrich the daily lives of those who work there.
In this project in Compiègne, the artwork directly reflects Clésence’s business and its role as a social housing provider in the Hauts-de-France region.
The goal was to create a piece that would naturally fit into the building while lending a human and artistic dimension to the space.

A Custom Work for Clésence company
Clésence gave me complete artistic freedom to design this mural.
This freedom allowed me not only to represent the company, but also to seek an image capable of conveying its role through a universal story.
The choice of this little girl is therefore no accident. She represents the future, the possibility of building a life for oneself, and the peace of mind that stable housing can bring.
“Because she has a roof over her head, she can think about tomorrow.”
This single sentence sums up the meaning of the project.
An Artistic Mural Designed for Its Setting
Every mural I create is designed with its surroundings in mind.
The wall’s dimensions, architecture, foot traffic, lighting, viewing distance, the location’s identity, and the story to be told—all these elements contribute to the design of the artwork.
For a company, a local government, a public institution, or a real estate developer, a mural can thus become a true custom work of art, designed specifically for a building and for the people who use it.

Thanks to Clésence and the teams
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Clésence for their trust and for giving me this artistic freedom to explore a subject so directly related to their business.
Thank you also to the teams who supported the creation of this work and helped bring it to life in this new facility in Compiègne.
Finally, a big thank you to Sidonie Productions for this wonderful video, which offers a behind-the-scenes look at the mural’s creation and serves as a lasting record of this project.
